Monthly Walks on the Asheville Camino Trail
Each month we have an organized walk on the Asheville Camino Trail (downtown, West Asheville, and River Arts District) or the Asheville Camino del Norte Trail (Downtown and North Asheville), led by someone who has walked the Camino de Santiago. All walks begin at the Asheville Visitor Center (36 Montford Ave) at 8AM (9AM in winter months)
at the back of the parking lot.
As on the Camino de Santiago, we will stop for coffee, lunch, and perhaps a beer or other refreshment at the end. Please bring a water bottle to refill along the way.
Upcoming 2019 Dates and Leaders:
Sunday, February 3 - Asheville Camino -- Danny Bernstein - 9AM
Thursday, March 28 - Camino Del Norte route -- Danny Bernstein - 9AM
Saturday, April 13
Sunday, May 12 -- Rebecca Weston
Saturday, June 8
Join us for all or part of the walk. We look forward to meeting you!
Join us on the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at REI Asheville where pilgrims who have walked the Camino share their experiences. Click here for the REI Asheville Calendar of Events.
Weekly Morning Tertulias
A tertulia is an informal meeting of people.
Every Tuesday, between 9 and 10:30 a.m., at Green Sage Westgate,
potential pilgrims and veteran pilgrims alike gather for coffee and conversation.
All are encouraged to join us: to have questions answered, or share your experiences.
